Welcome to Torre Ambar 704!

We want to ensure that your stay is comfortable and enjoyable. This house manual provides important information and guidelines to help you make the most of your time here.

Check-In/Check-Out Information:

Check-In Time: 4:00 PM

Check-Out Time: 10:00 AM

If you require early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance. We'll do our best to accommodate your request based on availability.

If you arrive before check-in or are leaving after check-out the front desk can hold your luggage.

Amenities:

Groceries: Feel free to use whatever food or drinks you find in the condo and replace condiments in the fridge if you run out. There are various spices in a cabinet aside the fridge. When you need groceries the Chedraui next door is a large supermarket.

Air Conditioning: There are remotes in each room. Please turn the air conditioning off when are out leaving the condo or when rooms are not in use.

Wi-Fi: Connect to the Wi-Fi network with the following details:

  • Network: 704 Guest

  • Password: Welcome704!

Filtered Water:  The cold water in the kitchen sink (handle down) and the water and ice in the refrigerator are triple filtered for viruses, bacteria, particulates, and taste. 

Note: When you open the cold-water faucet it runs hot for a bit, then cools off.  The UV filter heats the water that is sitting in the tank when it has not been running for a while.

Smart TV: Enjoy streaming services on the Smart TVs. Use your personal accounts to access your favorite content.  Don’t forget to log back out of your accounts when you leave.

Bluetooth Speaker: You can connect your personal devices to the Bluetooth speaker in the living room by selecting <Klipsch the One> from your Bluetooth menu.

Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances and cookware. The unit does not have a full sized oven but there is a toaster oven/air fryer that works well for frozen pizza, brownies, toast, etc.

Linens and Towels: Fresh all cotton linens and towels are provided. Please do not take the white towels out of the unit. Turkish beach towels are for the beach and large striped towels are for the pool.

Bathroom & Toiletries: Shower body wash, hand soap, and toilet paper are provided for your convenience. If they need to be restocked, please contact us. Blow dryers are also provided.

House Rules:

No Smoking: Smoking and vaping is strictly prohibited inside the apartment and throughout the entire the property including the pool area. It is illegal to smoke in any public places in Mexico

No Pets: We do not allow pets in the unit or in the pool area.

Quiet Hours: Please be respectful of quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

Parties and Events: Parties and events are not allowed.

Respect Neighbors: Please be considerate of our neighbors at all times.

Laundry: Please leave the waher door ajar when not in use.

Safety and Security:

Puerto Vallarta is known as one of the safest cities in all of Mexico.  Of course, as anywhere, take appropriate precautions especially at night and in crowds.

Always lock door when leaving the apartment  After closing the door, simply press the button with the lock symbol on it.

In case of an emergency, dial 911.

Closest Hospital: Hospital Joya Marina is a 7-minute walk away. This is a private hospital.

Getting around

Walk

  • Sidewalks are available between here and all principal areas of the city.

  • Beaches in Mexico are public.  There are multiple public access points every few hundred meters.

  • The most convenient access to the beach from here is to walk left out of the building entrance, left again (south) on Paseo de las Garzas for a long block, turn right at the raspberry colored wall, follow the street around, there will be a public access point on your left.

Taxis

  • Taxis are readily available throughout the city.  There are three taxi stands within one block of Torre Ambar, the nearest are in front of the Crown Paradise Hotel and the Chedraui parking lot.

  • Fares are reasonable, for example a taxi to el centro  (downtown) will cost ~$200MXP (~$10 USD).

  • If you want to hire a car for a special trip or for a day, you can arrange that through the travel service downstairs.

Uber

  • Uber is similarly priced to taxis but has the advantage of price transparency and the use of the app for mapping destinations, which is especially useful if you don’t speak Spanish.

The Bus

  • Buses can get you most everywhere around the city for $10 MXP ($0.50 USD), exact change is typically required.

  • To go to El entro, the Malecon, or the romantic district, take a bus that has “Centro” or “Zona Romantica” painted on the windshield from the bus stop in front of Chedraui.

  • To get back from El Centro, you can take any bus that says “Walmart” on the windshield, and you can get off at the OXXO across the highway from Chedraui.

 

Garbage and Recycling:

Please dispose of your waste in the trash bins in the parking area on the lobby level.

Departure Instructions:

Kindly check out by 10:00 AM on your departure day. If no one is checking in on your departure date we can extend this time.

  • Please leave $50 USD/$1000 MXP in an envelope on the kitchen peninsula for housekeeping.

  • Please load and start the dishwasher.

  • Place used towels and linens in a pile.

  • Empty the refrigerator of any perishable items.

  • Please empty the trash, taking the trash bag to the receptacle on the lobby level and through the parking garage.

  • Lock the door when you leave.

They are helpful and honest.  They can arrange for most any experience you wish from hiring a local boat to joining a big tour group, just walk down or contact them by phone or WhatsApp.
